TRUE METRIX Level 3 Control Solution 3mL

A control specimen is a material or solution with a known concentration of the analytes being measured; it's used for quality control when the test result for the control specimen must be within certain limits for the unknown values run in the same batch to be considered reportable. This control is for use with the True Metrix Pro Blood Glucose Monitoring System.

• Use only True Metrix Control Solution to check the performance of the True Metrix system; it is important to perform control tests with more than one level of control solution to assure that the system is working properly and testing technique is good
• This control is level 3
• Control test should be performed before using the system for the first time; for practice to ensure that testing technique is good; when opening a new vial of test strips; if results seem unusually high or low based on patient's condition; or if test strip vial has been left open or exposed to extreme, heat, cold or humidity
• Control solution is a red liquid containing a known amount of glucose
