Disposable stretcher sheets are made from a blend of 50% cellulose tissue to make them soft against the patient's skin and 50% polyethylene film to prevent moisture penetration. In addition, they are sturdy so that they will hold up throughout their use and not tear. Each hospital stretcher sheet is 40 x 90 inches, allowing it to fully cover individuals of virtually all sizes. These stretcher sheets are a dull blue color to reduce glare from overhead lighting.
