COVID Rapid Test Kits
At-home COVID-19 tests are available for your convenience. Unlike the early invasive tests, updated home tests are gentle and use a sample taken from within the nostril to detect proteins from the SARS-CoV-2 virus, even if you are asymptomatic. A positive result indicates that you potentially have COVID-19 and should see a medical provider for a follow-up test. These tests let you get rapid results conveniently in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Test as often as you need to, wherever you would like. They provide quick results in 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the brand.

Positive results do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses and the agent detected may not be the definite cause of disease. Individuals who test positive with the at-home COVID-19 Test should self-isolate and seek follow-up care with their physician or healthcare provider, as additional testing may be necessary.

Pregnancy Test Kits
Pregnancy tests work by detecting levels of human growth hormone, or HCG, in urine. These tests are very accurate when used correctly. They are easy to perform at a doctor’s office or at home. Most tests provide an answer in just a few minutes.

At-home pregnancy tests provide a presumptive diagnosis for pregnancy. A confirmed pregnancy diagnosis should only be made by a physician after all clinical and laboratory findings have been evaluated.

The majority of pregnancy tests are easy to read and understand, even if you’ve never taken one before. Read the product instructions before use and contact a healthcare provider if you have any questions.

Simply Medical offers a variety of pregnancy tests for use at medical facilities or at home. The tests are highly sensitive with built-in controls to ensure accuracy.

When Should I Take the Pregnancy Test?
Certain pregnancy test manufacturers recommend taking the pregnancy test after you have missed your period for maximum accuracy. However, other manufacturers offer pregnancy tests that can detect results even before you miss your period.

Example Directions for Use
Here are example directions from a dipstick urine test. Always follow the specific instructions for the product you have purchased. These directions are just as a sample for you to get a better idea of how a test might work.

    1. Allow the test dipstick, urine specimen and/or controls to equilibrate to room temperature (59-86°F/15-30°C) prior to testing.

    2. Remove the test dipstick from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.

    3. With arrows pointing toward the urine specimen, immerse the test dipstick vertically in the urine specimen for at least 5 seconds. Do not pass the maximum line (MAX) on the test dipstick when immersing the dipstick.

    4. Place the test dipstick on a non-absorbent, flat surface, start the timer and wait for the red line(s) to appear. Read the result at 3-4 minutes. Do not interpret results after the appropriate read time. It is important that the background is clear before the result is read.

    5. Interpretation of Results: Positive: Two distinct red lines appear. One line should be in the control region (C) and another line should be in the test region (T).
Diabetes Management Test Kits
Supply Medical carries a diabetes management test kit that measures your average blood glucose over the last 90 days. It monitors how well your diabetes management and treatments are working over time. It's also used to test for prediabetes.

Blood Type Test Kits
Do you know your blood type? What about your children's blood type? This potentially life-saving information is critical in a medical emergency or health crisis when immediate blood transfusion or replacement is required. Simply Medical carries a rapid blood type test kit that makes it easy to find out this important information. The rapid test uses the basic forward antibody method of blood hematology to quickly provide the user with his/her blood type (A, AB, B or O) and rhesus factor (Rh negative or Rh positive) in a few minutes. This is all done without the need for special laboratory supplies or training. By comparing the results of blood sample coagulation on the pre-treated areas of the blood typing card with a picture chart, the correct blood grouping is known. The test card can then be filled out with personal identification information and laminated with the provided plastic sheet to make a permanent record for safety.
